Hi. Star Trek has played a very important part of my life. 40 years old and still going strong.  With another movie in the pipeline, and Star Trek New Voyages on the web, the future has never looked brighter. Smile

Men have the original series gold uniform top in their customize section.

Yo! Scarybird, do the women have the little red "Uhura number"?

Yo! NJBain.

Enterprise could not have lasted another season, because they could not end it there, it would have lasted another four years. Season 4 penultimate episode ended in 2155 (the year prior to the Romulan Wars), so if they involved the Romulan wars, which lasted four years, there was no guarantee that the series would have lasted. Fortunately, the final episode (...These Are The Voyages), was set after the Romulan Wars. I think that that it would have been good to see a series set during the Romulan Wars, but involving more than just Enterprise.

Enterprise would have lasted alot longer if they never screwed up the last season by focusing solely on the xindi .. another reason why people didnt take to it very well .. was because of t'pol ...  they tried to make her an 7 of 9 clone .. ...  anyhoo I thought the series was pretty good ... and watched it all the time.. but they lost alot of viewers by dragging on the xindi crap for an entire season ..  it was like watching the same episode over and over and over again for the entire year.... I also thought the last episode sucked donkey dick ...they could have thunk up a better way to end the series.

of all the trek series  my faves go like this

1. Star Trek Voyager
2. Star Trek The next Generation
3. Enterprise
and 4th is a tie between the original trek and deep space nine.  they both sucked donkey dick as far as I am concerned .. the only episode of the original trek that I like is the tholian web..  as for deep space nine... it had it moments ... but not nearly as good as the 1st 3 I listed here.

but I am some what of a trekkie ... I have attended 1 or 2 conventions .. you know .. for giggles (NERDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  lets egg them in their star trek costumes!!)

but hey I did get to meet brent spiner (data) at one of them

the borg I found to the be best foe in all of the trek series.. and I find them sexually arousing too *blush*

HUGE Trek fan! More partial to TOS than it seems most here are, but TNG comes in a close second. Jean-Luc was no Kirk!

Thing...

I still have the "Starfleet Technical Manual" from back then to...or was that the one you were referring to? My little brother drew crap all over it...man, was I PISSED!!!

Also, have the blueprints for the Constitution Class Starships in a plastic snap-lock binder.

Don't know about anybody else...but I've really started to get into the new BSG series on Sci-Fi! If you missed any episodes, there's a site called http://www.dailymotion.com that has all of them!

I bring good news. It's called... Nerdfest 2007.  They will be showing the pilot episodes from Star Trek The Original Series, The Next Generation, Voyager and Enterprise - they will even be showing "The Cage" (the remastered original pilot).
